We are a family of three, Dan, the keeper of a hubby, our son, Derick, and myself. We are a home based rescue starting our 10th year. You learn tough lessons in this endeavor. I have 8 dogs of my own, 6 labs, and 2 Jack Russell Terriers. I am also a breeder of quality english labs that have had all their yearly and final clearances done. Our girls breed under contract with various service organizations.

I rescue because I have a passion, especially for labs, but don't turn my nose up at other breeds. We have rescued quite an array of pooches over the years. We have done pugs, bloodhounds, flat coated retrievers, goldens, border collies and a number of mixes. Far be it for me to let a puppy die. Pregnant moms are a big concern, and a main priority. We are set up for the whelping process, and are very experienced in that area.

Sadly, I can't take in pitbulls, dobermans, rottis, shepards here as people tend to be scared of the breed and judge them on their reputations, so it makes it difficult for me to find them the right homes. Stigmas attached to these wonderful breeds have more to do with the owners than with these beautiful animals.
