| Holly's Story
Well folks another year almost at an end. Would I disappoint my loyal viewers at Christmas? We started this year off with the Goldens and we shall end with a tale of true kindness and giving. Just what we need to keep the spirit of the season alive.
Meet ???, who had wandered up as a stray and the people decided to help by fostering her. Little did they know she was full of surprises. Soon they found out she was expecting. And she had 6 little black girls. However they needed to fill family obligations out of town for the holidays. This girl needed a permanent place to raise her pups. So.......
the email went out, the call came. And once again your true blue sucker for a mom and pups
said very non commitally, "well the box has been empty a week and you'd have to get her here. " The pictures you will see is God working through people and moving mountains to over come whatever stands in the way . When things like this happen you need to recognize the burning bush for what it is. Someone , something, bought this together in a symphony of human compassion. An apt little cliche says it all for us. "There is no such thing as coincidence, it's just God being anonymous." This is rescue at it finest, at it's most awesome. Where an average "Joe" (named Luke) becomes a hero to a humble grounded rescuer awaiting precious cargo. There were others you won't see here. Casey, that set the wheels in motion, and Nancy who ran them to the vet to get Holly a rabies and everyone their travel papers and I think got them to the plane. The pilot Lee that flew the first leg. Kristen a friend who snapped these pictures and whom never ceases to be amazed by the network that will do just about anything to save the life of a mere animal. Brenda who will post these pictures and story as she has done hundreds of times before. To Cindi who has driven many of miles with me and missed this one which she so deserved to be in on. And above all else I hope you grasp this final one, doG spelled backwards is God! Put out your hand to help and it seems there will be another to grab it and make it happen. Believe it or not, it doesn't matter just know there are many that do. Find them and follow a passion that will make your life rich beyond your wildest dreams. We are blessed and are not afraid to say so. And thanks to all who helped you made us feel oh so special.
