Newspaper Articles about the Viriginia Rescue

So... now you've read the stories and see conflict within them. Once again bureaucrats and the good old boy network at work. Down play it, they are only dogs. There was absolutely no mention that 6 years ago this idiot was in trouble with the 126 dogs we took out of there.

So the numbers were 72 and a Pig. There were 18 young puppies that were rescued immediately and got into foster. Politics being what they are and morons knowing everything the town manager down there recalled all puppies to the pound, instead of the vets so the community of Sussex County would have access to them. Now town pounds down there do no vaccines or anything and you can just walk in and say I want that one. Not to mention every other germ jeporadizing them. Lovely!! ....and the ignorance rolls on.

Cindi and I rolled out at 3 am and made great time down arriving at one of the most impressive facilities we have ever laid eyes on. GREENBRIAR. What a sight to behold.. walking trails, play yards, spas, doggie day care, 24 hour medical care and sparkling clean as we saw it all.

We decided we could check in for a week when we needed a vacation. The countryside surrounding it is breathtaking. Utopia right outside DC.
This was all coordinated by the Lab Rescue of the Potomac and a few other rescues in the area. Vet hospitals stepped up and opened their doors to help. We were scratching our heads asking where were these guys in 2003, but rescue wasn't the trend back then. The network that has been built since then is just mind blowing and awesome. We were in touch daily with Sterrie Weaver. He made sure we had everything we needed to get these traumatized pooches to CT.

We would like to thank everyone at the Potomac Rescue for their efforts on behalf of these dogs.
